Ocarina iPhone Music Stand

So, I was having way to much fun with this application and decided to make a music stand so that I can take all my music with me and play it in front of people (Lame? Maybe. Awesome? Yes.).

Made out of a paperclip and a folderclip (I think?), just unfold the small end of the paperclip (might need some pliers to shrink it) and make it fit into the headphone jack of the iPhone. Stick it up through the folderclip that's holding your music.

CAUTION: Obviously, be careful sticking anything into your iPhone as there are risks that damage may occur.

Re: Ocarina iPhone Music Stand

Nice idea, but I'm not sure about sticking things in my headphone port, unless they are headphones.

Re: Ocarina iPhone Music Stand

Nice idea, but I think I'll just stick with the tried and true way of doing it, by memorization. I feel like I've accomplished more if I can play a song without looking at the notes. Plus, it only takes me a few times of playing a song to memorize it.

Dude, that is cool.

Well done, reminds me of my middle school marching band days.. those metal music holders that clip to the trumpets.

Re: Ocarina iPhone Music Stand

good idea. I am always at work and want to show it off but can't play anything without the sheet music in front of me yet :[

Re: Ocarina iPhone Music Stand

Now if someone can just invent the Mini Speaker-Music Stand especially for this app! Now that would make some money! ;)

Re: Ocarina iPhone Music Stand

Instead of the paperclip directly in the headphone jack, you could take a headphone adapter, put that in the port and then attach the paperclip to that. Then you don't have to worry about damage to the port.
